To integrate Kakao's consultation talk service with MatrixChat, you must have a KakaoTalk Business Channel set up.
If you do not have a channel, please create a new one and provide the necessary settings changes and channel information for the consultation talk transition.
Create KakaoTalk Business Channel
1. Access Channel Management Center
Access https://center-pf.kakao.com/profiles
2. Create Channel
Create a channel distinguishing between development and operation. The development channel can only be used after creating an operational channel that has business certification.
3. Channel Business Certification (Applicable only when creating an operational channel)
Open the created channel and go to the ‘Management > Apply for Business Channel’ menu to proceed with the certification.
4. Update Profile
In ‘Profile > Profile Settings’ and ‘Profile > Channel Home Settings’, register and change channel visibility to ‘ON’ (it is acceptable to change search permission to ‘OFF’, but if changed back to ‘ON’, it will take some time to apply).
5. Change 1:1 Chat Options
In the ‘1:1 Chat > Chat Settings’ menu, change the 1:1 chat usage option to ‘ON’.
Set business hours to all times if possible (this is not mandatory).
6. Confirm Channel Visibility and 1:1 Chat Option is ‘ON’
Check if the ‘Channel Visibility’ and ‘1:1 Chat’ options on the right side of the ‘Dashboard’ menu are set to ‘ON’. If not, change them to ‘ON’ (sometimes they may change to ‘OFF’ during settings, so please check again).
7. Provide Channel Information
If business certification is complete, provide the channel information from the ‘Management > Detailed Information’ menu to MatrixCloud (please send the information as text to avoid typos instead of images).
