I am curious whether it is possible to change plans or cancel the subscription during the subscription period (contract period) after signing a contract for the MatrixCloud service.
Subscriptions are available in two payment methods: monthly and annually, and we will inform you of the policies according to these methods.
In the case of monthly payments
This is a contract that subscribes without a commitment on a monthly basis, which means that the subscription is extended under the same conditions every month. If you notify us in writing (including email) 30 days before the subscription expiration date, you can cancel, reduce the quantity, or downgrade the plan.
Since monthly payments are without a commitment, there is no penalty.
Conversely, if you request an increase in quantity or an upgrade of the plan, it can usually be applied after one business day.
In the case of annual payments
This is a method of prepaying the subscription fee on a 12-month basis, and the subscription period is automatically renewed every year under the same conditions.
If you wish to cancel early due to the subscriber's reasons during the subscription period, the prepaid subscription fee will not be refunded.
To cancel without renewing the subscription, you must notify us in writing (including email) 30 days before the subscription period expires.
At the time of subscription renewal, it is possible to cancel, reduce the account quantity, or downgrade the plan, and no penalty will occur.
In the past, there was a 1-year commitment monthly subscription contract method, and if you contracted under a committed monthly payment method, if you cancel within the commitment period, the amount discounted during the subscription period will be settled as a penalty.
